Even the best services make mistakes. Did you add a tip for the driver? Was it a hassle to get a refund?

Looking at my history, I've had 8 local deliveries this year with zero issues. With the new policy of no longer charging $8 fee for orders under $50, I rarely need to set foot in a store. My main concern is trying to get Plus at a discount. They seem to have made it more difficult to reuse previous accounts.
Refund was not a problem.

So... this was my first time getting delivery (across the board) and I did not leave an online tip. But would that have resulted in this? If so, then it's totally wrong, the driver is not doing their job properly. They can't indicate that they delivered all the items when actually not doing so (only 2 items total so also kind of hard to screw up!)

Oh no. That is awful. I just had my delivery yesterday (from my almost expiring plus membership). It went smoothly. I got timely updates. All items arrived properly and were left on my front porch during the selected time window. I hope yours was a one-off experience.
Yes, hoping it was a one-time mistake...

Not sure how being early to shop can convince me to buy plus membership. I would only get plus membership for free shipping with no minimum amount. Otherwise scan and go is there for everyone, so no need to be at the warehouse early.
LOL, this... I might pay more to shop after hours though...

I've canceled both sams and costco memberships, and gotten walmart+. They have killed their online presence, intentionally. And if you think Sams is 'all digital', try buying gas. Ramming your phone into the slot isn't going to help you.
Actually you just scan the gas pump and it does work great. Better than everywhere else. Not sure who's trying to ram anything in this scenario?

I have both the Fidelity 2% card and the Wells. Downside with fidelity is you can only get cashback when you go over $25. With wells you can apply your cashback to your account every month. As a result I have not been using the fidelity in recent months.

Hoping for some kind of promo that they tend to have a few times a year.
That's not true, you get cashback from Fidelity at all times. You just can't withdraw the money when it is under $25 or in my case, it doesn't automatically disburse to your cash management account until you reach $25 (which is not a real problem if you spend at least some on the card and set it up to disperse even if you get 9 distributions a year instead of 12, so what).

But you absolutely do get the cashback, it just sits waiting for you to reach the minimum....and it's not every $25; once you reach $25 there no cutoff going fwd. So if for some reason you like to see monthly payouts, just move an amount and leave $25 alone and you'll get to push the button every 30 days if that's fun.

Personally I just spend and let the rest take care of itself; I get 2% on every purchase regardless which card I use. I have both Fidelity and Wells; there's no real difference.

If you go through Swagbucks, they currently have a 50% rebate on memberships. I got my Plus membership for $25 after rebate ($24 after daily 2nd goal met). Pends for 30 days.

Haven't used SB before (but have other CB sites), how do I go through SB while also getting the $50 offer on Sams site?

Go to SB and search for Sam's. Click through the SB link to Sam's. It has a better chance of working if you have the SwagButton extension installed but it's not necessary. Turn off any ad blockers just in case. SB rebates I think 2% on some items but 50% on memberships. It's all explained on the SB Sam's page. I bought my membership around 9pm and the $25 was pending in my account about five hours later.

It expired 2 yrs ago...and deal says its good for expired memberships over six months.
Had similar crap experience with them. Had a plus that expired about 2 years ago.
Wanted to take advantage of a new offer for non plus a couple times and they would only accept plus renewal. Contacted CS, said they had now disconnected my details from the old account and I could buy a regular membership or whatever.
Tried several times, and still only got the same plus renewal offer.

Finally tonight I gave them a bunch of mistypo'd crap, a new CC and phone number which worked. But they still popped up saying you look familiar, asking if I had one before.
Nope MF, and you fixed my membership history. Now that we're lying to each other, want me to pull your hair...

Good luck.

I switched to Costco last year and never bothered with Sam's Club again. I got some decent stuff for cheap from Sam's Club while I was a member but there wasn't anything there that I couldn't find a better version of at Costco. Their cafeteria foods are terrible, their meats and produce are inferior quality and most of their sales are comparable to every day Amazon prices. Not to mention the store quality is just fancy Walmart. Walmarts in Florida are already a good place to die, get robbed or assaulted, Sam's Club gives that same feeling except you'll get to eat an unseasoned rotisserie chicken while you bleed out in the parking lot.

My point is, I would pass on this unless Sam's Club is the ONLY option for warehouse shopping around you and invest that money into literally anything else; Costco, BJ's, Amazon Prime, etc.
I have the opposite experience. I find myself not able to buy as much compared to Sam's. It is also weird that the accepted payment options are very limited. I can't even use discover, Amex, not even MasterCard. What the hell..

The service reps were rude as hell when I just joined, trying to figure out the enrollment process. Apparently they phased out physical membership cards, but not everyone working there got the memo. And then came this rude Costco employee chiding me for not having a photo associated with my membership. How was that even my fault if your employee failed to take a photo? I am happy to go back to Sam's.

Let mine expire 9 months ago but when I tried to use this deal it won't let me. If I go to renew it wants to not only charge me full price but appears to still be renew from the original expiration date - so $50 for 3 months! As others have suggested, I can create a "new" account with different email and phone but really didn't want to have to do that.

I wasn't going to get the Plus membership until I saw this. I figured for net $25 it would be worth it, so I signed up for swagbucks, installed the extension and purchased the membership. Next day, I see 30 swagbucks pending for the Sam's Club purchase. The value of 30 swagbucks, a whopping $0.30. What a joke. I've also found out that Sam's, which is about 15 minutes away, won't deliver to my address.

Was yours a renewal? Renewals are excluded from the 50% rebate. It's clearly on the SB page. I joined as a "new" member which means my wife and I switched who was primary and secondary. We do this every year.

Don't know what to tell you because the deal is still there and it worked for me 2x after I did my kid's membership yesterday. Send them a ticket and get it fixed.

Gmail dot trick and Google voice number. I've done this so many times I'm finally going to have to use two dots in my email address. And I've been using the same two phone numbers, same address since day one. My wife and I switch who is primary and secondary so we are "new" members every two years.

the sams here have been out organic eggs for at least 2 months. no more organic eggs. no more eggland brand eggs either. the only eggs they have in few quanitity is the big box that has 100 no name white eggs.
When they used to carry organic eggs it is 30% more expensive than 2 years ago.

It was a new membership and I also saw the offer. There is a record of where I clicked through and it says to give them a few days, so I'll wait a bit longer, but doubt I will get the credit since you had yours in five hours.
