Assuming 100% efficiency, the 245 Wh capacity would indicate it could power a 245-watt device for 1 hour; it could power a 100-watt device for 2.45 hours; it could power a 24.5-watt device for 10 hours; or it could power a 490-watt device for 0.5 hours. You can use the wattage of your devices to estimate how long it may last on a fully-charged unit. I'd assume only about 80% of the estimated time, though.

Someone needs to make a power generator that sucks the fat out of you and convert those calories into kWhr.

I just bought it, along with the 45W solar panel. I also got a free bag, which is listed as normally $79. I'm not sure if it's a mistake to get the discount on both the generator and to get the free bag, but the total for River 3 generator, solar panel, and bag was $200, plus $18 tax. There is a link for the free bag next to the item (https://i.imgur.com/NzqZJR8.png), which takes you here:
https://www.amazon.com/promotion/...t_collapse
Then you add the "benefit item" (the bag) from that page.

No USB-C option for charging this "upgraded" river 3?
Should charge via the USB-C port just like the River 2 does.

Can I plug a rice cooker into this for camping?
I doubt it, your average rice cooker is rated for 500W+. It'd have to be a very small rice cooker, but ultimately you will need to consult its specifications to ensure it is rated at a low enough wattage for this station to support it.

I'm getting this for running lights under a gazebo. Thanks for mentioning the deal with the solar panel. Is it enough for lights? Also, Do you have any ideas on how to hang the generator on the gazebo? I'm trying to provide some protection from rain, snow, etc. If I get the generator and put it under the gazebo, the rain will get into it. If I can find a way to hang it over the top corner of the gazebo, The whole thing will be protected. Thanks so much
Should be fine for lights. I use the Delta 2 for lights, TV and switch or TV and gaming laptop with 400w of solar panels connected to it. I walled off two sides of my gazebos so I just leave mine in a corner during summer and cover it during winter for humidity.

Anyone know if these can run a cpap when camping?

My Dreamstation by Philips Resperonics uses 60 watts per hour, if you don't use the heater or humidifier. This would run it for a little over 3 hours only. Check your model to see how many watts it uses.

If you want to run it all night, I'd get something bigger

IMO, this is a great deal - it is a sub-compact power station, perfect for camping. I don't need a solar panel, as I already have one, so, for $169 + tax, I got the power station and the backpack.

Thanks, op!

Is this better than the Anker one recently for camping?

Waiting for one with at least 500Wh for this price before I bite. 4.6 hrs for a cpap is useless; Need to use it for at least a night's rest or 8 hrs.

My 240 watt hour jackery will run my cpap for 2 nights roughly 8 hours each on a single charge. No heated water, just air.

I bring it camping to power inflators for air mattresses, inner tubes, etc and charge phones. If you want to run a big workload units get bigger and more expensive pretty quickly
300w with ac output. The product listing page gives you estimates for your use cases above

I use TLOG (found on amazon) for work sometimes (Hospital, violation to cook at work). At times i'd use it for when I want rice on the road with the food I buy from various places. It's rated at 200-250w.

The small rice cookers pull about 200 watts. Look at the wattage demand on the underside of your rice cooker

Can it always power a 600W device?
No. Better to get a bigger battery. It really is for 300 watts or less. Pulling more than that can damage electronics because it works by dropping the voltage to get higher watts.

They sped up the response time on these new ones expressly for working better as a UPS.
They sped it up to 10ms on the River 3 Pro but this model is still at 20ms which is too slow as the ATX standard requires less than 17ms.

This would not be great as a UPS as it could be noticeable.
