Iphone camera is computational photography with a tiny sensor.
Do you really wanna compare the quality of a mobile cam with a flagship camera?

I really want to get this camera to replace my G85, but here is nothing wrong with my G85... except the autofocus sometimes. The G9ii fixed autofocus with phase detection, but it's hard to justify spending $1700.... plus probably more for batteries.

My phone is my primary camera. The best camera is the one you have with you.
That said, my big camera is used for specialty shots. I can take macro shots of bugs in way greater detail, with better light, from further away. I can set it up with an intervalometer to take lightning pictures in a storm. The sensor is larger, so it brings in more light. That means it can take pictures of birds way faster with less blur. I had it hand held in a dim room at a friend's wedding. A bunch of people up front took phone video of a dance. The video I took with my camera from the back ended up being the only one they could find that was actually worth keeping.

I have the bundle but it's $200 more. Edit, nvm had to add them separately with the "kit" crap stuff. It's actually $2 cheaper at BHP lol

Now I have my setup, G9 II + 42.5mm F1.2 + 9mm F1.7

Edit: Crap, they lower the trade-in for my G9 to crap levels.

To understand the reasons fully, consider taking a basic photography class. It will provide you with all the answers you need. However, it's important not to compare phone cameras to professional cameras.
