For those asking what these are good for, I have found on a number of occasions my pool pump connected via iAqualink was either on too long or wasn't coming on at all. I found some vanity lights with excessive power usage and replaced the fixtures. It's useful to see my solar power production vs my power consumption. The application is cumbersome but you can get the data you need if you spend time figuring it out. But once it's connected to Home Assistant it's in a very effective and easy to read format.
So this being more like a Vue 2 and with less of a footprint in the HA community I would pass and get the Vue 3 instead, if not then get the Vue 2.
Then it's just a case of the worst that can happen is the meter craps out on you.
Not sure a UL rating helps much with that.
For those saying it's just CT clamps, you do indeed install these to both legs of your panel through a double pole breaker. Just me but I'd be hesitant of closing it up inside a recessed panel.

Thr Meross unit was great! No huge bells and whistles. But it just works... (i'd say even more reliably than MyQ, had it for 3-4 yrs before the switch!)
true RMS is the measurement quality on a single waveform.
power factor requires current and voltage measurement along with phase information
It doesn't need to be UL listed any more than your TV remote does.
Besides, UL listing isn't a trustworthy system to begin with. There's tons of listings that simply piggyback ones that are already filed and the amount of bribery that goes on is rampant.
BTW these are not fully non contact. you need a direct connection for power and voltage measurement.
