I think the battery might be fine and maybe it was just the setting up of the watch that drained it pretty quick at the beginning. It did have to install the new update, download the same apps I had on my previous watch, etc., so that probably was a big battery drain. As of about 10 minutes ago it's now been 36 hours since I took it off the charger at 97% and it is currently at 32% battery level.

I used it as I normally would and always wore it, except to shower. I also use the always on display and always keep it on silent so it vibrates for every notification, so I'm going to assume the battery is fine if it's reached the 36 hour mark that Apple says it can go "up to" in normal use.

dont bother then..honestly just dont..Ebay can be great if you know what you are doing. I got brand new U2 watch from Ebay for $500. But took me a while to find it

i want to try and upgrade my self , i hate it when i miss out on a good deal, any pointers when shopping for high budget, possible scam able items ?

Same as you. I ordered a SS Series 8 from Walmart this morning for $299. It is Gold so not sure if I should keep it. Currently have the SS Series 4 which battery dies out in 7 hrs even low power mode. Ulra would be tempting but the price is too steep. I rather buy a normal watch which will appreciate over time and be able to use forever than Apple Watch which last only 5 yrs. The battery replacement is $99 - not worth it.

Also note regular titanium is a softer material than stainless steel.

I would not mind buying the watch for $200 - $300 but for $700+ I would rather buy a watch which will not drop in value. I got my wife an Ebel for $750 3 yrs ago. The last I checked with jewelry store, it is now worth $1,300!.

thank you. i ended up getting a renewed ultra 2 with indigo alpine loop for 589. came in 10/10 excellent condition. i was only missing the original apple box it came in.

What can a 'normal' watch do ? Just tell the time .. same as a normal phone which only makes phone calls . Those were normal in the 1960s. It's no longer normal. Why bother putting on so much weight on your wrist for so little in return

Watches are traditionally jewelry, so it makes sense why they are still worn and valued today despite being obsolete from a utility standpoint compared to smart watches.

Amazon photos look like trail and Alpine cloth bands attach to watch differently than ocean; looping through an opening rather than sliding into a groove like the 9 or 10.
Please tell me these are just bad renderings and all bands are compatible with Ultra.

I hate that Apple won't let you customize alert sounds! Ruins the whole watch experience having to look to see if it's a Nigerian prince or your friend iMessaging you. Or in public everyone has the same damn alert sound.
