check you local yamaha dealer before buying. They can likely beat the price on all ebikes. i purchased the morrow 7 new for 500 less the online.

Purchased second one today. price went up slightly below is my invoice. price was 2247 (morrow 7) out the door.
For those thinking about getting an ebike but worried about not getting enough exercise, remember this: sitting on the couch thinking about riding your analog bike burns no calories. Riding your ebike because it's fun and you don't have to stress about a hateful hill climb or running out of energy far from home burns a lot more calories!
Apparently it's Yamaha ebike week on SD

I ordered for home delivery on Fri the 13th and haven't seen any movement and the charge is no longer showing on American Express. It's been pending since I placed the order.

EDIT: I see now that no matter what zip code I used in Broward County, delivery is not an option. If I use a Miami-Dade zip code, delivery is an option. Looks like I will soon be told that my delivery was cancelled. I'm not paying a dealer fee out of principal. I guess I'll be passing on this unless I want to take 3 buses and a local train furthur down into Miami to a dealer without fees.

All who wonder about the status of their shipment, someone in the other thread found a way to get the shipment tracking number from the developer view of the order page. Worked for me as well.
I enabled developer view but not sure what to look for?

Front suspension makes a HUGE difference for curbs at bike paths, uneven pavement, tree roots/rocks on dirt/gravel trails, potholes, speed bumps, living anywhere in the north where roads suffer the winter freeze/thaw. Crosscore RT has the suspension, but the tires are street tread. Wabash without suspension would suck on the items listed above…. Yamaha doesn't really offer a perfect option for bike path/gravel/dirt trail use…….maybe in 2025. At this price we can afford to customize some tweaks!
You are certainly entitled to believe it makes a difference, and make your purchases accordingly. If someone wants suspension, that's a preference... one I happen to disagree with for north east roads with pot holes, and/or curbs, or whatever...

These things are a non issue on the vast majority of roads if you know how to ride, especially with gravel width tires at a lower pressure. The tread isn't really important in terms of comfort, it's the tire width and being able to run lower pressures that makes a dedicated gravel tire significant (especially if you run it tubeless). One of the benefits of running a 45mm and beyond tire is that it smooths out rough roads without adding weight, complexity, or losing rigidity with a shock.

But my objection to the initial comment that I responded to is that it suggests that lacking suspension is cheapening or cost cutting or whatever. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a bike lacking suspension and frankly, I prefer a rigid fork and no shocks on anything other than a dedicated mountain bike (which the Wabash is not); there may very well be some roads that are so bad that a mountain bike is justified and perhaps that's how it is where you live. But my point was to pay no attention to the person implying this isn't a good bike because it lacks suspension, that's nonsense, and anyone who cares about having suspension wouldn't be looking at this model to begin with.

I paid an extra $138 in dealer fees to the N. Miami dealer (x2 since I got 2). Had I ordered when I first saw the deal it was only $15, but I'm sure I would probably have ended up paying the dealer to save me the trouble on assembly anyway, so it is what it is. Still works out to a great deal for a mid-drive when considering the warranty and extra battery.

I ordered Sunday afternoon (crosscores) and received shipping email Tuesday night.

This is what worked for me but don't know if it's different for others:

In Chrome, go to your order details page on Yamaha website.

Open Developer Mode (3 dots > More Tools > Developer Tools), you should get a console and the Yahama website side-by-side.

On the top of the developer console, click Network (it's part of Elements, Console, Recorder, etc on the top).

After clicking Network, reload your Order Details website again and you should start seeing elements pop up in the console.

Click the filter text box and filter by Tracking, you should see 2 entries.

Click on the one with the Fetch Type and you should see the preview window for this object.

Click the triangles next to Data > shippingGroups > 0 > trackingInfo > 0

All your tracking info should be under that last 0.

Your dealer fees are $15, right?
I should have been more specific. I'll edit it. The dealer changed it to $138. I don't mind the $15 recycling fee but the it seems the dealer got a bit greedy and added their own fee.

Right on, didn't mean any offense with my comment…only to clarify why I prefer to have a shock absorbing fork. Hoping to help someone else who might be on the fence between the two models. Dont want/need a mountain bike..just a little more cushion. Hoping the crosscore is similar to the turbo vado - love everything about that bike other than price. Was saving for it but cant pass this deal.
Agree with you that removing the suspension also has advantages and is no way cheapening the bike. Its a preference like the drop vs flat bar. That other commenter is oblivious similar to those who keep saying the motor is too small next to their 1000w inefficient hub bike.

Crossfire would have been a nice bike for me too, however the fork isn't good enough to have a major impact (quality forks are expensive like the Moro fork). You can do nearly as well with wabash rt, which I ultimately got with good tires, ok technique and dropper suspension.

In the end a higher end crossfire would have been nice, but not an option (wish I could just convert the Moro into a good commuter, but mount points and limited rear rack kills that)

Walked into a local Yamaha dealership over the weekend and picked up a Wabash RT. Interestingly enough, this location was not listed on the Yamaha website as an option to order online for pickup. Still got the full deal. Put ~30 miles on it so far and love it. Been wanting to get into an e-bike for a while now and I'm glad I pulled the trigger.

Just order it directly from Velofix.com. No tax, no shipping, free delivery and assembly.

Damn. Mine still in transit but velofix is near me. Could sure save $200 in tax? Any chance to refuse delivery with the orginal wabash purchase that's still in transit to a dealer ?
