The RZ30s only real benefit over the RZ50 is/was 2 independent sub outs & DLBC.
Then they go and will be adding DLBC to the RZ50! 🤔
You can get the RZ50 right now for $799!
As far as Pioneer, this is the only one that gets DLBC but the Integra DRX 5.4 will be getting it also.
Thats gonna make this a hard sale for the prior price.
Makes sense why they might drop this to this price imo.

- But just in case I took snapshots of the chat. I'd encourage everyone to do that for themselves as peace of mind.
And thanks OP for finding this deal.
I think this is basically the Onkyo RZ70 architecture, though one of the reviewers says the Pioneer sound brighter to him than the RZ 70.. And published AV professionals have said that the RZ70 is the best AVR out there under $3K

This LX805 is better in every way with the option to upgrade to DLBC. It is Pioneers current flagship that competes with receivers that retail $5k+...
Built like a tank and has enough juice to not need external amplification, which makes for a 1 box solution if limited on space.

Doesn't look like receivers fall under the restocking fee.
Yes just audition within the 15 days to see if it works for you.

It's been out for 3+ years and many have been very satisfied with it.
This is only really advantageous if you need 150 watts for all 11 channels & won't be using the pre outs at all.
