No, your thinking is wrong with Amazon Smilie. I used to think the same way but then I realized that when using my Amazon card they don't let me have any no rush digital credits. Whereas if I use non Amazon card then I do get qualified for that. So I rather choose the discover card and get the digital credits. I used to get many but then they switched it to just having 6% which is worthless when you got small orders.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case , I miss those no rush digital credits and now they are never offered .
Anyone tried non Amazon credit card and started no rush credit appearing while ordering?

I can tell you that it's not always the case anymore. I also recently experienced where using Discover basically took away the 6% from using Prime Card and nothing else was given in lieu of that. So It seems that they have caught on now to even give any incentive to use other credit cards besides their Prime card. I guess it's truly the end of digital credits at Amazon.

If you want to torture the definition of "select" to include only those who activated the quarterly offer, then yes. Or perhaps "select" meaning only those who have a Discover card.

But I'd leave "select" to mean more YMMV scenarios where not everyone can get the deal. For this, anyone with a Discover card knows it is a category card and you activate it quarterly to get the 5% back. Nothing more selective than that.

But it's not just to "select" cardholders, but to those who selected the offer... That is all I'm pointing out - the others that questioned it wanted the answer, so there it is.
