For those of you who are unfamiliar with Greentoe, they are essentially a broker. The products you buy are from authorized retailers, include receipts, and prices include tax and shipping.
In Texas, this deal equals paying $1293 plus tax and free shipping. Slick.
The gist of it is that it's something of a panel lottery (that they lost) and it's not new to this year's model. You're just as likely to have the issue with a C2 or C3. Everyone just decided that it was a fact that C4s have green panels and started repeating it.
FWIW, I have absolutely no perceptible green tint from any angle on my C4.

Any recommendations for wall mount? Especially if I decide to buy from LG Partner with the free mounting, they try to sell you a $60 mount. Not sure if its worthwhile to buy a different one
If you just want the tv to sit flush without any pivoting, get a basic tv wall mount. Any mount with arms that pivots and turns is a PITA to level and adjust. However, if you need those features than you have no choice. Just check the reviews. These TV's are like 60#, the mount you choice wont be an issue so long as its rated for the size and weight of the tv you are purchasing.
Specifically looking at the 77" G3. Greentoe buy now price is $2549. If Costco can price matches that, I'll buy.

Costco does haul-away, Greentoe doesn't and the Costco one is technically a different model at least it is on the C4 (different wifi).
Costco also includes extended warranty in the price.
I ended up going with Greentoe and skipped their warranty, it was $1349 with no tax and shipping included for the C4. TV will arrive this Thursday, so only 2 days after paying.

Perfection. The livingroom TV was a Samsung S90C for a weak, but could not live without DTS and the TV liked to randomly close Emby and launch Prime or Disney while the remote is sitting under the TV. Not that I could even enjoy 90% of my Emby due to the fact that the psychotic TV can't do DTS:X out. What a waste of improved color space. Useless TV. Was about the same price as the much superior (practically speaking) C4.
