However, when logging in to credit card and viewing the details link next to where it shows current categories....see 2nd screenshot I have here.............it shows all the year's categories, including the above Q4 list, which I've attached as pic #1 here.)

If you haven't hit your $1500 maximum by the end of the quarter, send money to yourself or a family member using PayPal. There's a 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee, so you pocket 2%.

Not good on freedom unlimited, so freedom isn't right.
And, if you have a chase card, you already know if you are getting revolving category bonuses or not.
The quarterly categories never applied to Freedom Unlimited. Just OG Freedom and Freedom Flex.
Your final statement is an assumption and not a reason to leave vagueness in the OP if it can be avoided.
Granted I despise Paypal, but I will use it to get 5% / 7%.

I might try buying VISA gift cards again to see if CVS reversed their policy.
Where does the 2% drugstore come from? If you pay via PayPal, isn't it a PayPal purchase, and not a drugstore purchase?

But I know from my experience with CVS that at the very least what you would get with McDonalds is 1% base + 2% restaurants since McDonald's qualifies as "restaurants" + 4% Paypal = 7%. This is for the Freedom Flex only, not Freedom

Right now, most Chase credit cards offer 10% back from OfficeMax purchase. Buy McDonald's gift cards in store.
I did that last year near the holidays on an order from Tracfone.
One thing I do like about Chase's website is the Secure Message feature. I wish BofA has that.
