(When viewing the quarterly categories outside of logging in to chase.com, it says info coming soon. However, when logging in to credit card and viewing the details link next to where it shows current categories....see 2nd screenshot I have here.............it shows all the year's categories, including the above Q4 list, which I've attached as pic #1 here.)

If you haven't hit your $1500 maximum by the end of the quarter, send money to yourself or a family member using PayPal. There's a 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee, so you pocket 2%.
Edit: I like another posters idea of making a quarterly tax payment using PayPal. 2% fee, pocket 3%. Plus, no risk of it being categorized as a cash advance. https://www.payusatax.c

McDonald's gift cards can't be used with the app.
If you want your app deals, you have to go in store and use the kiosk.
You can buy them on the secondary market - eBay or equivalent.
Only Costco and costco.com sell new cards. Any other source is resold cards.

It's not illegal to sell a Costco shop card, but as a buyer the risk of fraud exists.

If you really want the best discount on shop cards, go with the BofA visa customized cash card.
Select online shopping as your category. That alone gets you 3% at costco.com and 2% at Costco.
Then, if you put assets in Merrill or BofA banking/brokerage accounts, you get a preferred bonus of up to 75% more cash back.
With the full bonus (75% for 100k assets under management, smaller bonuses for less), that's 3.5% at Costco and 5.25% at Costco.com (and other online shopping, including Amazon).
