If the DeWALT option was $36, maybe I would choose it - but now there are so many cheaper options that use the same batteries.
Think about it, it's just a light and you can buy so many alternative lights far cheaper, brighter, has more features and some include batteries. How can 3 LEDs so expensive? If it has other modes and features like telescopic base, adjustable lens, 90+ CRI (this DCL050 is poorly rated at 70), adjustable color temperature, more flexible articulation, 2000+ lumens, emergency (flash) modes, magnetic mounting, and the likes, maybe $50 is reasonable.
The irony is, I am already a Dewalt sheep.
