If I cancel business card before one year anniversary, does the point earned will be gone?

I had a SW Priority card that I cancelled. The last bonus I got on there was 1/15/2023. Can I get that card again this time around, with plans to change my billing cycle so my points drop into my account after 1/16/2025?

This is what I'm going to do and hope it works. Just re-applying before 2 years isn't clear but getting the reward just after the 2 years its what I'm hoping.

You have to wait until 1/16/25 to apply for the new SW card.

The T&C's are clear, actually, that you can't apply for the new card until 24 months have passed since receiving your previous bonus.

I currently have 26,000 points towards a companion pass. If I get the card on October 8 and get the 3000 points after January 1 (sacrificing my 26,000 points ) when should I target at in getting up to the required 135,000 points?

I'm not so sure they are clear. You don't get the points when you apply, it says you aren't eligible for another reward if you received it in last 2 years...

Guess we'll find out!

Except, the terms don't refer to eligibility for another 'reward'. The terms refer to eligibility for the "product", phrasing which Chase uses to refer to the card itself.

No. You'd have to cancel your current (individual / non-biz) card to quailfy.

I also faintly recall that Chase considers your card still active through the statement close date (even if you cancel that monthly period before your statement close date). If you really wanted it, I'd suggest you check your statement close date, and if it is between Sept 27th and Oct 15th, maybe cancel it today, and apply on Oct 16th, or after your statement close date (Some offer links show they are good as far out as through Oct 17 so you should have until then to get this offer).

That is how I'd do it...because, right now, I don't think you qualify because you are a current card holder.

Call them and ask. I was in the same situation a few years ago and I called. The CSR gave me the exact date I need to wait to apply.

I applied for this about two weeks ago. Got a notice that it was flagged as fraud. I called and verified and they pushed it through. About a week later I got another fraud notice. Called and went through the same verification process again. The rep didn't have much information on why it might have gotten flagged a second time. This will be my second card with chase.

Anyone else have this issue?
