correct understanding? I already have 23K TQP for CP.
Unfortunately the 23k pts you have this year don't count towards CP, but they still carry over and you'll have a nice load of points once you get the CP.
I've found that since I got my bonus less than 2 years ago, I gotta wait to apply...
Good luck!

The 2x points we get via CC purchases on these Chase SW cards do they count towards the CP points required the 135k? Also does this amount reset (for CP qualifications) each Calendar Year?? Thx
Yes and yes

Business card is easiest if you do have a business or have a 1099 job, because they sometimes ask for supplemental information.
I've never been able to get a refund on new card fees, but I wait for my anniversary points to drop into my account then cancel the cards. They will refund renewal fee's up to 30 days.
Keep in mind that you can only get the bonus points every 24 months for the same card. For instance my bonus points dropped 1/15/2023, I have to make sure to time it correctly so this time around they drop after 1/16/2025 into my account.
I've had the CP for the past 6 years, under utilized, but it is convenient to have with my partner.
So if you keep the same card and number in 24 months you get it again? Without applying for another card?
For instance, if you go the bonus on the SW Priority card on 1/15/2023, you cannot get a bonus on the Priority card again until 1/16/2025.
Yes, you can do that, but a lot of times you can book a one-way flight with close to 7000 points, which might be a better use of points. Good to know more options for points usage.
That should trigger the bonus and then I need to earn another 50k points to earn Companion pass? How much is that roughly?

Yes, you will need more points in 2026 to get companion....actually...another 40k in points....
(you get 10k companion-only bonus for being a cardmember at the beginning of the year....plus the 85k bonus, so only 40k more left in 2025 to companion). Easiest way is get two referrals in 2025 -- or the business card bonus in 2025.
Good luck.

It might have looked it up and known your existing RR number.
If they gave you a new RR number...Call rapid rewards and ask to merge the two accounts.
