This seems crazy cheap for large candles, even if these candles suck they are like half the price or more vs other candles that I have purchased in the past on clearance. To me, candles suck when there is little to no smell, they are fast burning, they have an uneven burning, etc. I consider <=$6 per large candle a slick deal based on my previous experiences here.

I ordered 18, and opted for same day local delivery which was 4.99(seems to be a flat rate), and including tax and a $7 tip, my total was $61, which is an avg of $3.39 per candle which is still a crazy deal. It is worth the $12 for me to not have to go to pick them up... but had I gone that way, then the total would have been $49, or $2.72 per candle which is crazy! Thanks for the post OP, repped!

These are genuinely excellent for this price. I picked up 8 yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by their throw. For 17 oz. you can't really go wrong. Fyi made in Vietnam.

Favorite scents for a true "fall" smell would be Pumpkin pie, vanilla chai and autumn walk but cashmere plum was also quite good.

Just got what is now my first order, these are pretty much the same as the Amazon "Candle-Lite" 18oz candles that have been posted here a couple of times for $6 a pop (the size and style of jar, etc.). These are better when it comes to throw, and I like the available scents more.

Assuming I get all of the 23 I put in the second order (not arriving until tomorrow... hopefully they at least pull them from shelves and pack them now!). I will have hopefully at least a year supply as I like to always have a candle burning on my work desk while working. I haven't had any for a couple of months now because I haven't been able to afford any, at least I am not willing to pay $10-$20 a piece. I would have gotten more but I started feeling guilty. Thanks again OP, you have made my life while working more tranquil for like the next year!

Does anyone know if they will ring up this price in store?
It's a great deal but I usually like to smell before I buy.

Probably can just return the ones you don't like but at $2 it's hardly a gamble. Gift it to people you don't like. Wink

Go to the store and smell them.

This isn't much of a deal really as Michael's usually has multiple candles "on sale" throughout the year.

My experience from this sale last year..

None have any noticeable throw, unless you use them literally in a bathroom.

We had a power outage here a week ago and had 9 of them going (all Falling Leaves fragrance) for multiple hours. Couldn't smell them anywhere except (again) the one we had in the bathroom, with the door almost closed.

If getting them for lighting, 100% go for it; they last a while. If getting for scent.. just wait for Bath and Body Works or Goose Creak to have their triple wick candles on sale.

you might just have problems smelling fake scents...it can onset even if you smelled them in the past. Me and my stepdaughter can't smell candles, or plug-ins any more. If we do smell something scented it's either very chemical smelling, or out of nowhere we can smell it temporarily (like once in a few months). But natural smells (both good and bad), I usually have a very strong sense of smell and can tell if something like food is going bad even when it's refrigerated and I'm not in the kitchen! It's crazy.
