AT&T & T-Mobile offer $1K value for iPhone 12 with their premium plans. Many are buying it for trading in with their carrier. Already got a 12 from Metro last deal, which was $50 more.
Keeping my current phones (13 and higher) as spares so I can trade these in instead for less.

Update: Chat with agent who told me iPhone 12 is OOS.
Update 2: I gave it another try and found my number showed as "Unfortunately, this number can't be transferred. Try another number or choose a new number to continue." Looks like I have to wait till the number is returned back to my current carrier.

Make sure you unlock it first in settings…
Set up PIN by turning on "call to listen" in voicemail tab…(i suggest 6 digit pin)
Wait about an hour
And then place the order
I keep getting errors and this is the only one that worked for me…
edit: whole metro site seems to be crashing. cant add any other phones to my cart either.

You must cancel your transfer to continue." not sure if I need to cancel to continue with a new #...Then I guess I will be charged on the phone if a new # is assigned?
