This should be standard and free.

Yup.. when it expired, I was offered $100 back in early 2023. Either it was a special or the doubled the price. Either way , a matter of principle, I refuse to pay a subscription. Nothing needed, and if remote start was important to me , I'd just install a non-sub unit. Consumers need to stop giving in, not matter how minimal the cost or what your income is, rich or poor.

Instantly showed up in the Volvo App. Wish my 2016 S60 didn't have the old cell tech that they shutdown 😭 but the wife's XC90 is good through 2027 now.

Worked fine in the app. I let my subscription expire for almost a whole year waiting for this. I steadfastly refuse to pay $200 a year. It was gone so long I took the app off my phone. I definitely can live without VOC, I don't think I missed it a single time.

I have a 2017 XC60 and was able to upgrade to 4G for ~$500 at the dealership. Expensive upgrade but worth it when it's below freezing outside.

500? See Volvo was supposed to work on a solution for all the customers left in the dark. I thought that 4g module was like$1200. I may have to speak to my dealer. 🤬
