Edit: I am a very light hiker, longest I have done is like 10mi. I only hike like 4.5miles per week when it is spring/fall/winter. When it rains I wear speed gtx, when it is sunny I wear moab 3. My last pair was a NorthFace GTX (yes back then they still made shoes) and lasted like 10yrs... The speed I def had <100mi on it and moab 3 maybe a bit more. But again I don't expect them to have quality issues immediately. I am an average man 5/8 155lb.
I personally only ever buy these on sale because in no world are they worth the MSRP any longer.

What kind of terrain did were you hiking?
This may not be a good deal for you, but might last someone like me 3 or 4 years.

My Moab 3 mid (non-Gore-Tex, but sold as water-proof) started leaking shortly after a year in one boot when the water level was just above the sole. And this was not when standing stationary in water, it was just a step through some water on a gravel path.
Very lite use, maybe a hundred miles.
Previous Moab model (not sure 1 or 2) survived many day hikes in Teton/YS, Wyoming, badlands, and around my home state for a decade before falling apart.

Wish the tread design was more aggressive like the Speed shoes.
Hopefully these will last as long.
