In theory. But it's often not staffed. Sometimes you can hand the "overseer" your stuff and they will do half the work for you, but that's just a slower form of cashier checkout.

And good luck buying something with a gift card. Visiting dentist for teeth extraction is more pleasant experience

In store pickup is bad, too. Last time I used it, I waited in line for about an hour. Once it was finally my turn, they took nearly 30 minutes to show up without the full order and I had to show the cashier how to read their own paperwork.

I must have the worst lowes in the country in my town. I really hate going in there for anything. The old timey hardware store has horrible hours, but better prices and amazing service so that's where I try to spend my money.

I have a gift card saved in my Apple wallet and had no issue in self
Checkout. Just hit scan payment and enter the pin

When you're camping, sometimes you just want something to fiddle with.

I've found those cheap chinese hooks on amazon to be generally good quality. Once in a blue moon you get a dud and sometimes it's easier to just run it through a sharpener a few times. But they're so cheap I often just replace it.

I have the Smith's six inch three stone. After the kids are in bed I turn on something entertaining, grab a beer, and get my blades to razor sharp perfection.

Then the next time I'm prepping veggies for dinner and the blade just slides through things effortlessly... I smile.
