The only difference is that Lenovo's official eBay store sells this. All the specs should be same as the previous deal. Here's Lenovo's official page for this model: https://www.lenovo.com/us/outletus/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpadl/thinkpad-l14-gen-3-(14-inch-amd)/... [lenovo.com]
The unit I received is practically brand new with Lenovo 1-yr warranty.
For those who questioned 256 vs 512 storage, it's 512.
Thank you for your inquiry. I apologize for the confusion. This L14 has a 512GB SSD M.2.

Screen is fine. Touchscreen comes in handy at times. Mine has the smart card reader, but don't know what good that is. Love the plastic case. It is comfortable to use and hold, unlike my older macbook air which is cold and sharp aluminum. This ThinkPad gets a bit warm on the keyboard and palm rests, but not bad. Only setup office on it so far, but happy with the purchase price. Spent the day getting my 15 icloud calendars synced into Outlook calendar categories so I can print my color coded calendar starting on any week for 5 weeks in a monthly layout. I cannot find another program that can print a calendar this way. Been suffering through just printing and re-printing entire months from my Mac, but when things change, I only want to print the weeks going forward. Thanks to GSyncit for making this work. I had been using their plugin for years, but since not having a windows PC for a while, I could not!
I'm tired of HP. I just had mine break apart at the hinge area due to the cheap plastic and poor design. It did last 6 years and was a great deal back in the day.
These Thinkpads are supposed to be more durable but this particular model is the L series, which is the more budget model where they use cheaper materials. I bought it and I'll see if it's any better than my HP.

It is also very slow to start up despite no start up apps running. My 6-year-old Inspiron starts in less than 15 seconds. The Lenovo is more than 30 seconds. It is running Win11 Pro. Perhaps someone familiar can identify whether this slow start up is normal. I read that the AMD start up is considerably slower than Intel so that may be the issue here.
This computer isnt old. It's manufacture date is 3/2023.
