Tried for a solid 3.5 weeks to place an order on a refurbished x4800h. Capital one had 14% cash back when I started. Money would go through from my credit card then instantly get credited. Kept saying my information was incorrect. Tried different cards and even tried shipping to my work address. All valid and legit But all would fail. Email was the only way to get a hold of anyone and it would be 2 to 3 days in-between for a response. Finally they told me they couldn't help me and to try and purchase from an authorized retailer. Was not impressed with their customer service or their lack of help when they would respond.

You could get it here, same 1 year warranty + 2 more through CPS.
I'm gonna hold off and hope prime day has a deal but that will be where I go if not. The Denon website was a hair cheaper plus would have had the extra cash back from the card. Good looking out though!
We're 2 months from BF where these AVRs can be had NEW for probably less than this deal! The Dirac licenses will also be on 30% discount (based on prior years) so if you've waited this long, what's another 2 months?

Iam stuck in exactly same situation, home address, work adress, multiple credit cards, order is not going through, sometimes they charge my card and auto reject n return the payment , v shitty process 😑
did you find a solution?

Nope, I didn't . I gave up after they said we can no longer help you. Exact same issues you had. I even tried different receivers. In the off chance it was out of stock and throwing an error because of that. No lie I probably placed 15 orders in the month I was trying to figure it out. All of them would charge the card I would try and then 4-5 seconds later the refund would come in. They did keep pushing affirm as a viable option and with me having the money for it, I see no reason to need to go that route and it also would have negated the card cashback.
Just gonna hope theres a deal on prime day and be patient. I have my onkyo 818 filling the gap for now but its a pain in the butt to have to use the zone 2 to turn on and off my sub amplifier.

I will snipe something from Adorama. I even spoke to manager at Denon today, changed different valid residential addresses, US credit cards, AMex, Paypal. Nothing works. It is v v clear and evident that they are controlling the sales and rejecting payments. god knows why. I am going to report this business to a business bureau
Yeah, something doesn't make sense for sure. All they could tell me is they couldn't verify my information. I told them to override that as my information was correct. It definitely wasn't a money issue as the payment would go though everytime I tried buying one. I tried with and without the 25% code, with and without the credit card cashback, tried different browsers and different computers. I can see my cards denying my purchases due to fraud, because I tried so many times to get an order to go through. I called my card companies to make sure it wasn't something in their side and they said it's not them and the money is going through.
