If it's financed, are you getting 36 bill credits for the SE? You might lose the remaining credits when you cancel the line.
That actually might be the case. If it is, I'll just continue paying $13.33 a month. I'm still on the fence whether to keep this phone or go for something else.

After searching, I think they will still give me that $121 credit.

considering that Total wireless is $15/month, that's the most this deal is worth.
$180 of service for free ain't bad!

It's actually worth less for me, since I'm a low bandwidth user. My $12/mo plan at us mobile is fine - sure spectrum will give me more, but I won't use it.

When you bought the phone, did you select the payment plan option? If you did the payment plan, you'll get the trade value in 36 monthly credits, so you'll probably lose the remaining 24 months of credits if you leave after the first year. Only way to get the trade-in credit all at once is paying full value for the phone.

If you go that route, you can do it at a Spectrum store and you get the credit immediately, instead of mailing it in and waiting.
Ok. In that case I'm going to call them and tell them I no longer want to do a trade in. Hopefully that's an option. Yes I'm on a payment plan (financing) with the phone, but I figured if I'm going to be paying the full price for the phone by doing extra payments or however they'll take it, that the trade in amount will come off one way or another. If they're only doing monthly credits for trade ins, then I have no desire to attach myself to them for an extra 2 years for that requirement.

I have a Google Pixel 6 & Iphone 15 that uses GSM At&T. Am I able to use this and switch to verizon? I'm a little out of the loop about cell phones and compatibilities.

Start going through the order process, they check your phone's IMEI for compatibility.

Same. I use like 2 gb a month at most. I actually wonder if now having access to unlimited for first time is going to make me used to having this freedom of sorts and become bandwidth hog and hyper user lol

Me too. Might try some streaming audio instead of relying on my 0.5TB SD card filled with music.

That's my main reason for not wanting to upgrade my phone. I'm addicted to the SD card slot.

I have a question. If the phone like Motorola Edge 2021 XT2141-1 Verizon is unlocked, then it can be used in Spectrum without any problem right?

You can always pay off the remaining balance of the phone at anytime and the remaining trade in credits will immediately hit your account. You can then ask for a credit back to your default payment method.

Damn, this is hot, in particular if combined with the $500 off the Pixel 9 Pro XL!

Run it through the IMEI checker at Spectrum and find out, click the link in the opening post.

Just received the sim card in mail. Activated using their website, had to restart the phone after inserting the sim card. Got the new number.

What's the regular price on this?

I have the regular spectrum mobile for $45 a month and got an email from spectrum about it. Don't ever go over the limit on that plan,

But then in a year I'll have waste time trying to change it back.
Looks like you got in when they first rolled out their mobile at $45. Standard rates now for mobile are $30 for unlimited and $40 for unlimited plus plan which lets you upgrade your phone anytime as much as u want after your first 30 days. Even at standard rates, saved a great deal switching my family from Verizon.

Anyone know if this will work if you have their cable service instead of internet?

Just for clarity, they DO give you the credit immediately if you pay in full for the new phone. Bill credits only come into play if you set up a payment plan.

Also if you purchase the phone in a Spectrum retail store instead of online and trade in the old phone at the store, you get the credit right away instead of having to wait to send it in (the phone/chat reps might tell you that you can't trade in at the store, but they just lie about it to make a sale)
