Tip: If you are wondering which stores likely have discounted price, on the product page, select "choose another store for pickup."

If it lists "available for in store pickup" = Full price

If it lists "buy in warehouse" = Likely discounted price

Sony if you like better image processing IMO. I'm not going back to Samsung.

Not sure what Rtings Reviews you're looking at, but according to Rtings, the Sony X90L series is significantly better than the Samsung Q72D series.

How good of a deal is this? Would we expect to see better on BF on comparable?
It's on "sale" at BB for $1999 with less perks. I think it's a screaming deal, been looking specifically for this TV as it seems to be the best overall 85" sub $2500 price point. I bet it's 1599/1699 for bf.

Went to 2 Costco's in Naperville, IL. The one on 75th street has 3 but the price was 1999. The Costco on Ogden Avenue also has 3 with $1399.99 price. It was after 8 tonight, so anyone interested will get it tomorrow morning.

It was marked at my store. I guess you could call or ask. The tag also had the asterisk meaning it's leaving Costco soon. Sony didn't update this exact model for 2024 so there's fewer models this year than last year. It's a Goldilocks for me as it's was a lot better than the 2023 85"s they sold for $1300 and $1600.

YMMV 85" cheaper than the 75" in warehouse only, good ol' brick and mortar. Not available label online. Items sold at $.97 at Costco is either on clearance or a manager special. Will not be cheaper than this on BF. Purchases 09/26 for $1510 after tax included 3 yr total 5 yr warranty.

Is this like an earlier version of a Bravia 9? Or just a "leveled down" version?
This is the previous version.
Sony ramped up quality and performance with the Bravia 9 series.

Fml. I'm in the 3 months return period until 10/4…
Not sure if it's worth the hassle of getting a U-Haul and hire someone to lift this (and have Costco pick up the one I have here). I think by the time I'm done I would only be saving $400 instead of the $600.
Still $400 is a lot of money. I need advice, what would y'all do?

Got this TV 6mo ago, fantastic PQ and really good right out of the box, only needs minor settings adjustments. Note the shipping company Costco used is terrible, I had to return the first one bc the panel was literally cracked/smashed when I took it out of the box. Apparently this issue isn't uncommon. But replacement TV is flawless and looks great.

U got a Sony X81cH in 2022 from Costco. Over the last 2 years it has turned out to be very mediocre TV. I bought it for about $1000 so not bad but the performance has slowed down and the apps take some time to load. The switch between inputs like HDMI and TV is also very slow. Overall I would rate any non X800 or X900 series or even non OLED Sony TV as a cautious purchase especially if you are spending $1000+.

If the lower price is at your store, ask them to price match! I've had good luck getting a price match with an online order in the past. I would do this first before you commit to renting a truck.

*BTW - homedepot rents their pickup truck for $20 for 75 minutes? plus miles

My Costco has these, but full price, will they price match another Costco?

I just picked one up in WA, all locations appear to have it on sale.

Please note you will need 4 feet of WIDTH to get this box in your vehicle. You can shave off a half foot by deboxing it. Costco "cart assistance" will do this for you if you ask at the exit. It is massive.
