Be sure to choose Amazon as the seller and shipper, not a 3rd party seller.

See attached.

In case anyone is wondering about using this for a memory upgrade on a Synology NAS, the google spreadsheet compiled by /r/Synology subreddit labels the 8GB versions of this Crucial chip as not being compatible/no working. I'd link the google form created by /r/Synology but SD most likely wouldn't allow it. Here's what the list shows:

10/02/2023 DS920+, 7.1.1-42962 Update 2, Crucial CT8G4SFRA32A112, No, No

13/02/2023 DS220+, 7.1.1-42962 Update 3, Crucial CT8G4SFRA32A110, No, No

I got 64GB ( 2 x 32GB) more than a year ago for $99 at Newegg. It's definitely a better value, a 32GB module you will use it for the next 10 years. I wouldn't buy any 16GB module unless your laptop doesn't support 32GB.

You keep a laptop for 10 years?!

I said the module, not the laptop, that module itself will be used for more than 10 years, you can donate it to an old laptop, sell it, or if you get a new laptop with DDR4 just use the module to upgrade, you are reducing e-waste by using the same part longer, and saving money as well, anyway the deal is expired.
