Chatted with Verizon rep about it and they said it will start on the next bill which happens on 10/23 for me. So, I'll see what happens in a week I guess.
So I just got my new bill, it's $153. My previous bill was $133. They said I removed a $30 internet discount and choose a $10 loyalty. How da heck do we know that these two discounts are compatible? I feel cheated, cuz I did see that my new estimated new bill is $123 before placing the order, but Vz don't give a crap and won't give me back my $30 discount. Never messing around with this shit again knowing how Vz are.

I ran into that multiple times, upgrading my service said my bill would be less than what I pay currently. Chatted with a rep who said the online estimates are wrong...so I don't even bother using them now. That sucks

The system is a mess. It won't tell you something else may be affected with applying a offer. Once it's done, there is no way to reverse it.
I just got my verizon bill and it shows the discount; my FIOS bill is now $24.99 for 300Mbps.
UPDATE - seems like my Verizon Wireless bill went up $25-$30 since the paperless/mobile&internet discount was removed. Verizon's customer service lines are down right now, so I have to wait to raise hell...

I am fortunate that FIOS is my only service with Verizon (I do get an extra $5 off for having Visible as my mobile service provider), but all promos stacked just fine. This month's bill is $34.99 ($49.99 - $5 Visible - $10 loyalty). Thanks again to the OP and others who contributed to this thread.
Don't do this if you have mobile + home discount, will mess up the 35$ discount on mobile side and 5$ on fios side. Overall bill increases by 30$ after applying this 10$. Found out the hard way, spent several hours to get this removed and restore account to previous bill.

Anyone else get this too? I suspect it's because I recently moved service to a new location, but when chatting with a rep they had no clue.
