My Samsung C43J890 43" monitor died after a flakey 4 year existence leading me to reluctantly go monitor shopping. The specs for this LG caught my eye on Micro Center and the price was heavily discounted, so I took the plunge. So far it *far* exceeds the quality of the Samsung it replaced and any of the issues others reported when it was first introduced aren't plaguing me (i.e., earlier chipsets in Macs and some Windows machines couldn't properly align sync rates). I'm getting excellent results with my Nov 2023 14" MacBook M3 Pro as well as from my 2024 (?) ThinkPad P1, both of which are able to drive it at full resolution in HDR. There were only 4 in stock at my local Micro Center and pricing may vary depending on location.

Works great as a MacMini monitor, images are sharp and clean and so is the text—my other 34" 4k LG monitor the text and everything looked a bit blurry. But this LG monitor the text looks great. I did a ton of research and there's an informative thread on one of the Mac forums that goes into great detail about this monitor.
edit: From the Rtings link:
To take advantage of the high resolution, you must use a DisplayPort connection. If you use an HDMI cable, due to bandwidth limits, the resolution is limited to a maximum of 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz. In this case, the recommended resolution is 3440 x1440 @ 60Hz to respect the 21:9 aspect ratio.
