Mine store charged me for iphone original tax…
I'm not even sure what that is, but you might want to try calling the 1-800 number and seeing if you can be refunded.

My complaints from my experience were the following:
1) The store guy was way too curious about where I got my port # from. He even asked if I could show him, and came out to my car after I was leaving to asking me for the NumberBarn info again. (I assume he was going to buy a few phones for himself.)
2) He setup my account with a security question and answer without telling me. He also setup a PIN without telling me that. (1-800 support number had to reset everything for me.)
3) He added $16 a month device insurance without asking me. (1-800 support removed it and escalated a complaint about the store rep at this point.)
4) The guy and girl in the store at one point tell me my port number was not valid, but I assured them the Metro site confirms the number can port. (They started whispering back and forth in Urdu and got it to work after I pushed back on them.)

It costs $102 out the door. $25 activation + $75 for the flex plan. You must go to a corporate Metro store, or else you'll go to a privately owned one, and those shady dealers might try charging you $25 for a SIM card.

Apparently they didn't. The privately owned one recommended and referred me to the nearest corporate store. I called them, made sure they had stock, and they told me the price I'd be looking at before starting the trip and wasting any further time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If it wasn't truly corporate, then they still refer to them as such and did not operate like a private store. They even had on their Metro/T-Mobile shirts.

That's what I like to call a SHADY OWNER AND OPERATOR trying to make a buck. Call them back and ask what the cost breakdown is and report back, I'm genuinely curious what they tell you.

Lol, probably trying to make up some crap about $25 sim card, $25 number port fee. Idk what else.

$25 Metro activation, $75 phone plan, how the heck do they reach $225? Make them feel silly. Please! I'd leave them a 1 Star Google review after calling them too.

How do i user number barn to get number and pin..

Can i get numbers from numberbarn today itself to port ...i told the store i will be there in evening.
Pick an area code of your choice for $5, select the Port Away (or whatever it is called) option for $2, then after purchase your account will show you a Port Number tab and give you instructions when you select that you're porting to Metro. Lists your name, address, PIN, and Account # to provide to Metro.

Still not sure why they told you $130. You perhaps can get them lower. "I need bare bones $25 activation, $75 plan, port my number, no insurance, no funny business charging me for a SIM card."

FYI - they can seriously charge you $5 for a SIM if they want to be nice. They make up prices depending on how greedy they want to be. I've personally worked at a privately owned cellphone store. I know their games.

for $100, if all you gonna do is use the phone for trade-in, you could probably find a Samsung galaxy 9 locally or Facebook market price for the same price and not have to go through the hassle of porting a number, etc.

I am facing one big problem I activated my line back on Friday and the port went through and line got activated. However I see that the number is still present in my google voice account with option to delete. This is causing a problem for me, I am able to make a call from my new Total line, but not receive an phone call, infact the anyone calling my ported out number is still hitting google voice account.
Any idea what might have gone wrong? And what I need to do to get this corrected. Please advise.

Of my 3 iPhones from March, one didn't unlock at 180 days and was still locked 10 days later. I turned on location services and restarted and it was unlocked.
I've now done 18 Metro phones and they have all unlocked.
