Yes Google voice worked for verification without unlocking it once get device pay $3 to unlock GV for porting or try activate with new number YMMV or port different number on activate page.

These Automatically unlock with only 1 month service after Activation on 60th day can confirmed unlock date by texting UNLOCK to 611611

My payment keeps denying. I've tried privacy VCCs, PayPal, etc. Nothing works. The ID verify works. I get the discount to show. Anyone else experience this?

They're supposed to do GV. I just ported GV and had problems, I contacted CS and they said it's fixed and should work when the phone arrives in 2 days, but I don't trust a word those morons say.

Pay to unlock the google voice number by going into the settings and clicking unlock. Make sure to also setup the voice mail pin in the "Call to listen" section. This is the pin used for the port. Choose other as the carrier when at the totalwireless activation page.

The google voice account number needed to transfer the number to total wireless is the actual 10 digit google voice number with no spaces etc.

New to this porting and Numberbarn. If I buy a number how long do I have to activate it on the new for. Is it like 30 days. Will they charge me if I don't activate the phone in a certaim time frame.

You can use any number on the Total website. Literally, any as long as it isn't Verizon. You'll choose the actual number to port later on when you get the phone, so don't worry.

After some issues with the "verify me" process, I was finally able to order a second line with the free Samsung A54.

My original line has a payment due on the 17th, so I assume both lines will now share this due date?

Are most phones arriving within 10 days? If the phone doesn't arrive by the 17th, I'd like to avoid paying for another full month of service—what's the cheapest way to activate it to ensure it can be unlocked after 60 days? Would the BYOD promo at $25/month be the most cost-effective option?
