This is my suggestion for people who enjoys fun of online shopping:

1. Go https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/c...-edge-2024 and buy it with a new number. $75 cost
2. After get phone delivered, get it activated, and then login in your metro account to add a $20 tablet line with this free tablet. Now your cost is $95

https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/t...a9-plus-5g

3. After you get that tablet, activated it (you don't need openbox), and then repeat 2 to get another free tablet with $20 charge. Now your cost is $115

4. Transfer the tablet lines to other device. You can sell the two tablets now, you should be able to get $100 for each tablet. Now you have $85 profit.

5. Now you have $85 and 3 metro number which are qualified for this total port in deal. You can login your metro account and get your transfer pin (under your profile), you can find your account number on your statement.

6. Now you can grab the total edge with that $85. Also you have 2 more metro number which could be used for other port in deals if you want.

Finally, you got 2 edge phone, one will be unlocked after 60 days and one will be unlocked after 365 days

Veriff is a global identity verification service company founded and headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia.

Good deal but hard to share verification data with some company in Estonia.

My first Edge should unlock tomorrow or the next day. I plan on testing a at&t and T-Mobile SIM in it. If it is anything like my Moto g stylus 2024 from total, it should work perfectly fine.
How do you unlock it, plz? Is it since you start using total wireless sim card for a month?

It should automatically unlock 60 days after you first activate it on the Total network.

Activation would be inserting the Total Wireless sim can into the phone, powering it on, and going through the setup process.

You do not need to sign-up with your Google account.
Just get to the point where you can call the number and the device rings.

I usually skip connecting to a WiFi network, since that forces it to use the mobile data.
Once it's using mobile data, it is definitely activated.

If you go with an e-sim, then just go through the activation process once you power on.
No need to insert the SIM card.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, I took the phone with me outside the USA already. I will try to activate from abroad if possible or it won't work?

So is the port-in of an existing phone number required or not? Seen some comments saying no but I want to make sure.

This phone has no custom ROM. No developers and likely will never get any. The stylus and power 2024 are more likely to get support.

I have no idea about activation when abroad, as I've never experienced that scenario.

I normally activate the day I receive it (in the US) and then place the phone in a drawer for 60 days before I touch it again.

I placed order yesterday which went through and I got the order number. When I am logging in my account I see message "we apologize but we cannot process your transaction at this time". Transaction history shows "approved" status. I also received email with order number. Confused whether the order went through or not. Contacted customer service but didn't got clear answer. Can anyone help what does this message means? In how many days they generally ship the phone?

It means absolutely nothing. I also called about the message. You will get another email when they ship. Once the phones arrive they are easy to activate through the website and you don't need to port in a number.

I got in on the iPhone 13 deal from straighttalk. Can I port in that number? Wondering if it will put unlocking of the iPhone at risk.

How did you ordered 2 phones? I placed an order yesterday for one phone. Can I order an additional one right now, or do I need to wait until first one arrives? Do I need to take another $65 plan for second phone?
