Could you please elaborate?
I have Firestick 4K version and I have been streaming 4K content with Kodi with no issues.

Don't forget an additional 20% off with trade-in. And an instant Amazon gift card for the trade-in value that you can use towards the purchase.

Got 20% off plus a $5 instant gift card for trading in an older Fire TV Stick 4K for a current gen 4K Max.

Last I checked, if you don't send your trade-in by the due date (45 days), you'll still get the additional 20% discount, but will be charged for the instant gift card.

Trade-in doesn't have to be a streaming device:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/browse....9187220011

EDIT: Terms state that the 20% rebate is displayed at checkout but will not be received until submission of the trade-in device. So, the transaction may not be considered as complete by Amazon until trade-in is received or expired.

I would look at other reasons than the stick if you're having that issue. I've had the 4K and 4K max, and somewhat recently upgrade to the new 4K max. I've streamed 4K content on Kodi effortlessly, even files 80+ GB's. Either you need a debrid service, or your internet isn't capable of streaming 4K, but it's not the stick.

Nothing that firmware updates won't fix... Curious to see what the BF prices will be....
The only Google TV product that does it is the Nvidia Shield. Don't hold your breath.

Just get the 4K Max for smooth UI and 15Gig storage. I upgraded a year ago from older 4K firestick and absolutely love it.

Boooo! 4k max has basically been $35 all year. It was $25 on Black Friday. It's only getting older. I'm holding out until it's $25 again

Sounds like not worth trading in and paying a higher price still.

I just picked up a cube from Amazon refurb for 85. It looks brand new so I think it's a good deal.

I hate my fire stick. As soon as the Google stream goes on sale I'm switching back. So many ads... Never makes handshakes with my tv.

I've got 5+ Fire Sticks and none of them compare to the new $20 Onn box from Walmart. Much faster, and easy to install custom launcher, and the remote is a dream. All the Fire Sticks run out of memory quickly with only Kodi installed and they're all slow even with custom launchers. I like my TV boxes to have more than 1 app on them and actually be responsive. Specs are awful considering they're basically running the same hardware from 5 years ago and specs were middle of the road at launch.

I've been selling our collection of Fire Sticks and replacing with Onn boxes and making a profit on top. There's a better spec $50 Onn box, but honestly the $20 one does everything we need it to and the only reason I can see for buying the $50 one is if you require ethernet. But the $20 one maxes out our internet connection at 300mbps already which is plenty fast enough to stream anything, and over wifi I'm getting over 500mbps to my server in the other room too.

Had the 1st gen Max before i gave it away. It is huge. Takes up 2 hdmi ports and it might not even fit some because of how thick it is. Don't know if the new gen is thinner

Does your Onn box have the same abysmal Netflix app that the Fire Sticks have now? The app updated recently and it now only shows 2 or 3 show tiles on the screen which is just nuts. Sooooo much scrolling so I now just use the search command. Looking for something like how it used to be where it would show you 8-10 show tiles on one screen
