This is a really great deal at $350.

There is nothing else on the market at this price that will provide you with this many features to make a really good espresso.

I've had mine since 2022. I also have a Bambino for the office.

Bambino has no gauge and no PID for temp adjustment

Temp adjustment helps with extraction for medium to light roast coffee. ( Needs higher temp)

Having a gauge you can adjust the over pressure valve to reduce max pump pressure delivering a cleaner espresso. If you do the dimmer switch hack you can also use the gauge to play with variable pressure profiles.

Startup to heat time is a wash as both are relatively fast differing by less than a minute.

The group head on the infuser is heated which reduces cooling effect if you lock your portafilter in place while warming up. This is another variable that leads to more consistent espresso.

Infuser pre infusion is also more adjustable than the Bambino. Bambino is Max 10 seconds, while with the infuser you can go as long as you want in manual mode.

The last reason to get the infuser is it's overall size and weight. It still has a relatively small footprint, but when inserting the portafilter, having the extra size and weight is better. On the Bambino you gotta hold the top of the machine to snug the filter or else you'll lift the entire thing.

If you're thinking about getting into the rabbit hole of espresso coffee, this is a no brainer deal.

The Infuser has more precise temperature control, but weaker steaming power. If you consume more milk-based drinks, then the Bambino/Bambino Plus would be a better fit. However, if you prefer to drink straight espresso and dabble in specialty coffee that may require experimenting with temperature, the Infuser is the better option.

This is a fantastic machine. I've used it for the past 5 years, every day, without any issues so far (just regular maintenance). Latte tastes waaay better than starbucks, panera, and any other non-5*-restaurant place, both espresso and frothed milk are super creamy. I paid $400 (after kohls cash) and not once regretted it.
We have had ours for 5 years also and LOVE IT .... my wife has got to a point where she can make lattes and cappuccinos and expresso better than any where I have ever had some ... At this price TOTALLY worth it ... I think i paid 450(ish) 5 years ago and don't regret it a bit

I have this one and I think it's a really great middle ground between really cheap and mediocre machines, and the REALLY expensive chrome art pieces. $350 is a great price for a new one. Like perfect

Apparently the Infuser has been discontinued. Which is a bummer. It's a great machine. Trying to resist buying one to stash away.

I like this Breville because by not having a grinder built in, you can choose one that's best for you. I got a DF54 recently and I'm in heaven. Perfect combo.

I just picked up a floor model Barista Pro for $400 at Best Buy. I saw there are many others available at other Best Buy's. Worth looking at IMO.

Amazon is currently running a Prime Card bonus of 10% back on select Kitchen Products (https://www.amazon.com/l/17985366...SLEMXUZ2UB). This espresso machine is included, so that makes the deal even sweeter for those with a Prime Card! Ordered one. Thanks OP!

How do you compare this to the Delonghi La Specialista Arte Evo?

Thanks, Slickdeals. Received mine today, and my takeaway is that I spent $350 to find out that I can't make espresso. Wow, wow, wow, am I bad at this. Three attempts, three undrinkable "shots." 100% certain it's me, and (bad) humor aside, I'm really looking forward to learning the art form here, in both the beans, temp, and grind, as well as the frothing.

Does anyone know if this is basically the Breville Barista Express without the built-in grinder?

I have the Barista Express now; and it's working great for me. I'm looking to get exactly the same machine but without the grinder.

Thanks OP! I have been waiting for Bambino but pulled trigger on this one. In the item description, it says: Earn up to $200 cashback and receive two free bags of coffee beans when you purchase a selected Breville Espresso or Coffee machine. Valid Sep 18, 2024 until Dec 31, 2025.

If that is true, this will be a very sweet deal.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I also got the 3-yr protection for $40, so that I can play something crazy with a good sleep.
But you need to pay more to "subscribe" beanz.com dumb subscription service . 200$ Cashback is not straight up cash. It depends on beanz subscription service . Not good

Assuming you're an amateur (like myself) try the double wall filter basket. That may do the trick.

Except that "Earn $25 cashback on every $100 spent on beanz.com by Breville, up to a maximum of $200 cashback." Which means to earn 200$, you gotta spend up to 800$ on beanz.com to earn 200$ cashback

Warning. This is an old model - Breville does not make replacement parts for it any longer. I have had this model for 8 years. The pressure guage on mine is working but leaking water inside the guage. Unfortunately i can no longer get the replacement part for it.
