My starbucks spending reduced drastically after the BOGO and $3 offers are gone. Starbucks new CEO trying to increase revenue by not offering any deals it seems. Im not in for it 😀

I've visited a lot less since the reward program was devalued so drastically about 7 or 8 years ago.

Dutch bros is a different story. We have about 7 to 8 Dutch bros. I use their app as well. When the 2 of the locations very close to me opened they were kinda packed for few months I'd say. Now they are all empty as if they are closed. Not a single car I see whenever I pass by. They are popular when newly opened in an area. Also, they used to send promos in the email as well. They were the first ones I had noticed to do something like 4 medium drinks for $16. Or few random bogos after certain hours. Haven't received any offer from them as well. BTW, Dutch bros coffee is more pricier than starbucks. Only good thing they have is a vast amount of flavors available. Dunkin's offers are also lackluster. They did big promo thing after jacking up their prices, new rewards system and now all gone. I guess nothing beats brewing coffee at home
Dutch bros is both cheaper and better tasting here in Austin. Keep in mind that Dutch bros drinks are larger in size than Starbucks

Interesting, my bday was in August also and I got my usual free bday drink. Have only ordered a single drink since then and have not received any of these recent promos to my account at all. Guess I'm not going back 🙃 not worth it unless there's a deal

Was your birthday recent? If they really got rid of the free birthday drink that's going to turn off a lot of folks.

We literally stopped going to Starbucks from the time rewards program changed especially when 50 stars free coffee was changed to 100 stars, and top of that they ate up my 435 stars , I did not use them as I was traveling outside US. Ridiculous , totally stopped and they did not even send me birthday treat coz I dint go in that year, crazy

Holy crap a $3 coffee, it's...it's the actual value while still allowing a reasonable profit. This is... unheard of. I'm going to get a $6 black cold brew for $3, ITS ACTUAL VALUE. For only one time, one time only we get to experience balanced capitalism. Is it enough? Our corporate overlord kings being generous to the townsfolk? Is a $3 coffee viable? Like will the CEO shutter the business because they can only take home $10 million, instead of $15 million? Will we continue to allow this?

Not working here western WA and have reduced my visits drastically anyway. Use the APP but they kick you to the back, drive thru gets put ahead of you I see cars come and go and they have not started me drink. Ordered 10 min ago drove, park and no order yet. Faster to go thru drive thru not using the app

"Targeted" should be a requirement in the title like "YMMV".

Same. Sometimes I'll take the 2 for $10 but way less now since the pairing menu quietly gone.

This appears to be targeted. I have it in my app but my 2 coworkers do not. I only go to Starbucks every couple months, they go 2-4 times per week.
There was an article said Starbucks uses some very smart algorithm to determine eligibility. If ppl open the app and make purchase regardless of offers, they'll for sure see less offers.
To make things worse, Starbucks now would make you ineligible even after receiving the offer email (I lost the birthday offer after using the 2 for $10 that week)

Didn't work for us and we live near SF in Cali. I hate how expensive Starbucks is now. Without a deal we don't go- 2 for $10 isn't considered a deal and I no longer see b1g1 or 50 off Frown

As someone that orders it as a treat for an office of 10 people, what's the latest means of getting bonus points or stars? Is it still only by buying git cards and loading them up to the account?

Any sales on Starbucks gift cards? I don't remember the last time I saw them at Costco

$3 is still a 400% markup.
