Gretsch isn't owned by Fender, it is owned by Gretsch family, but all operations for Gretsch are run by Fender. Including production, handling warranties, marketing, distribution, etc.

I like it *A LOT* - I got it as an impulse buy because of the price, thinking I'd likely just hold and resell. Well, now I don't know anymore. I did the same thing with the G5210-P90 w/ bigsby and I think it's going to be really hard to let go of either of them at this point. Great guitars out of the box. And they definitely feel well-beyond their price point for the price.

BTW: I got MF to do a second pricematch so am getting another $20~ back at this point

Crap, i just got this one for $299 from the other deal. Pricematched it at Musicians Friend for that Frown


I wonder if they will pricematch the lower price after the fact - it does say they will match a price up to 45 days after hahahaha
