Anyone have experience adding a dusenberg les trem system to this or American made bigsby units (not the imported ones)?

Also helped with the small amount of neck dive Double Jets have.
Just take your time lining things up before you drill and you're going to be fine.
A Les Trem would probably be the way to go on this one though, since it has the stop bar tailpiece. No drilling, easy to put back to stock when/if you sell it later. I've used the Guyker version with great success on import guitars. This one probably deserves the real thing. Have fun!

Yeah, I think I might go with the Les trem system basically for flexibility.
I wonder if this particular guitar will react well with some high sensitive filtertrons.

The 5000 series hits around $600-$800, but they're made like a $1200-$1500 guitar. This is an incredible deal. Gretsch has been knocking it out of the park the last few years.
