Thanks OP! I just added a google voice number to my google account and ported that in. Takes no time at all. You'll need to go to GV settings and pay $3.00 to unlock the number. You'll also need to enable the "Call to Listen" setting under Voicemail which will let you set a PIN which Metro will ask for. You'll also need the google account number which is just the phone number.

You can port out while the line is still active. Should be OK to be unlocked later.

MSKD 5.6 is not working on Visible or AT&T sims. Someone mentioned it works on T-mobile sim.

Went through the US Mobile Porting method. As I was finishing the transaction at Metro, it showed up a 5 step verification part. Then it timed out and now I can't use the number to port out

Some US mobile numbers are T- Mobile affiliated and you can't get the deal with them.

Wait about 4-6 hrs and Metro will release the hold on the number. Then you can try again.

Pretty sure infimobile is verizon. infimobile number worked at checkout...but I just AFKed during that 5 minute validation interval and tried to pick it up 2 hours later. Then tried to restart and it provides the discount again but doesn't check out.
