other models of the Vivobook sometimes have an IPS screen but this one does not appear to have great viewing angles. Not that I am complaining for the price, and it is a better TN screen (or whatever tech it is using) then so many laptops I sold 10 years ago when I was still doing that job in what feels like a lifetime ago. Regardless my dad will be ecstatic for he has been using a Windows 7 computer I got him long ago when I still did that job.
Hell $50 / $150 for a desktop with this cpu is a great price, and the ram is upgradable and newegg says the ram will cost $25 to 50 (depending on the brand) to make it be 24 gbs of ram
I'm not 100% sure the laptop supports adding a 16GB or larger RAM stick

i was trying to ask them to honor the price, because price was $149 before 10 am Central Time (the page I opened is still showing 149 and i took screenshots)
but he said, sale was only for the weekend Friday-Sunday and they don't do rain checks.
