Bought a pair to try once. They are not great with wide heads. They got uncomfortable for me after two hours. The quality is nice though and this was the lowest price I've ever seen them.

If you overstretch them (like 180-190 degrees for like 20 seconds it should stop that problem). There's a Reddit post about it. https://www.reddit.com/r/airpods/s/SGyN0M4YH9

Plus if you accidentally damage them at least you'll have apple care

Wrong assumption here. Amazon's product description for the Apple Care+ clearly states refund procedure.

CANCEL ANYTIME - AppleCare+ coverage is a separate order number from your device order number. If you wish to return, you must cancel AppleCare+ by contacting Amazon Toll free: 1 (888) 280-4331 within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. After 30 days you can contact Apple and get a pro-rated refund (Used service fees will be deducted from the pro-rated refund for a 2 year plan).

That wasn't my assumption. The person I replied to clearly quoted the refund policy from APPLE not Amazon. I stated Apple isn't going to refund money from an Amazon purchase. You're saying Amazon will refund you which sounds more logical.

But, since it's a bundle and the non-AC+ price is much higher, there is the possibility that either they might not allow that or charge you the higher price of the AirPods Max alone ($399). Just speculation considering how most other bundles go.

Just got mine delivered. Brand new and AC+ already attached. The actual headphones price with tax was $258 and the AC+$38. They do sound great! Good luck to everyone who was able to place an order.

Thanks OP. Ordered mine 10:30 am and were delivered 3 hours later. Almost half price when they originally retailed. I have a graphite pair I have been using for over 3 years now. Great for using on my TV, Switch, PS5, and iPad and also while traveling on the plane, or whenever my wife needs some quiet. Totally worth it for me! Then my wife started using them on her days off to watch TV while I was working from home and she wanted a pair as well. So jumped on these. She does not like blue so she is taking my graphite ones.

Got you. In this case it gets split into 2 different orders and refund is via Apple via phone call issued as a check and not Amazon refund. I still think refund would be possible but someone needs to test it and I sure will as I was able to order one and expecting a delivery tomororw morning
