Great deal, tons of good deals on these. Wonder if BF will be any better as I am going to try to buy around then for Christmas. I would buy now but don't want it sitting in the box for 3 months unsure if there is an issue.

I would say S90C, little brighter and better contrast and better picture overall. C3 if you want better processing and Dolby Vision. I tested both and ended up with S90C 77" but beware the panels in 55 and 65inch may be different than 77inch.

I picked up the S90C 83 inch at BB for $2,500 with a small price match, then got the BB 15% reward offer on top. I know it's a different panel, but it's a great deal and I'm a happy camper! 😃

I can't wait to get it on the wall for an immersive experience!

The 2023 90C has something key that 2024 90D doesn't.
ATSC 3.0
Both LG and Samsung dropped ATSC 3.0 from their 2024 lineup.

Good TV, just be aware this size (and some other sizes) use a WOLED panel vs QD-OLED.
Not a reason to change because LG and Sony also use WOLED.

I understand that one of the main drawbacks with this TV is the lack of DTS passthrough or encoding. So if I had a receiver that could decode DTS audio and I mainly will be watching through streaming apps with occasional 4k/UHD blu-ray viewing, as well as for PC gaming, then these drawbacks shouldn't be deal breakers, correct?

Yes, I'm aware the 83 inch uses WOLED. I already have a 55 inch LG OLED that I bought in 2020 and I'm perfectly happy with that. It still looks awesome, I think it's a CX model if memory serves. Anyway, if I'm happy with the 2020 LG panel, I think I'll be super happy with the 2023 S90C 83 inch panel (especially with the deal I got from BB). 😃

Is Roku a workaround, or sharing cable password w/ friend or neighbor? Seem's quality would be slipping purchasing last year's Samsung S90C or LG C3.
