Bought this chair when on sale before. I found the head rest annoying and the bounciness of the chair was just off. Like it was too firm and wanted to throw me out of chair when I leaned forward. I would not suggest it.

I sat on it in store recently. The headrest felt like it was exactly where it should be, and I didn't like it. I told myself if I got one I would just leave the headrest off. I think these chairs are a lot of legacy-hype. Like people saying to find Herman Millers locally used for cheap. They are just repeating what someone else said. It isn't a bad chair, but I sat at like 10 different Staples models and I think mesh is not really an enjoyable experience compared to something with a soft foam.

My friend swears by mesh though, but he also says he runs extremely hot and his butt otherwise gets sweaty. I am afraid there is not much junk in my trunk, so I am cool.

At what point do we just stop posting this chair as a deal at this price, it's basically the regular price at this point. Do we really need 2 Dexley/Hyken deals a week?

Is this the mesh the same quality as the Hyken? I sometimes sit cross legged on my chair, and the Hyken's mesh was too abrasive on my ankles. Plus it was leaning too forward and the seat depth was too short.

I bought one of these during the peak of the pandemic. I am not over the weight limit, but likely toward the upper limit than a lot of people. I used it a total of about three years. At first I had the gasket go out so it would sink. I called and got a replacement for that. Then, the base had a crack in it so the gasket fell through and would drag the floor. I called again and only got the rep to agree to sending a new base. I spent a couple of afternoons trying to remove the old gasket from the old, cracked base and had no success. I then threw it away and bought another chair with a metal base. If this had a metal base I would be even more pleased.

Now, the chair that I use does not have a mesh bottom and I miss the mesh instead of this hard thing since the foam has given way. I have a $20 off $99 purchase so I am considering using it and buying another.

One of the worst chairs I ever used, the head rest is uncomfortable, assembling doesn't have great instructions, after assembling a lot of parts still seem messy and uncomfortable, for ergonomic lovers this is not what you would love

IDK it works well enough for me and was easy to assemble. I have both this and an Aeron and other than the lack of adjustments the comfort is comparable.

Now I know the chair I'm about to mention is 3x the cost but for a great office chair, check out the SitOnIt Novo or Wit. 355 including tax and free shipping via their shop.sitonit.net consumer site.

I grabbed a random chair from the office during the pandemic and loved how comfortable it was. After 4 years of daily use and never knowing the brand I got the itch for a new chair and wanted to see if this same mfg had something nicer - turns out they do. I ended up grabbing the Novo with the high back today.

Compared to the extreme prices of the steel case and hm chairs, this one had everything I wanted and I know the company makes solid chairs.
