My friend swears by mesh though, but he also says he runs extremely hot and his butt otherwise gets sweaty. I am afraid there is not much junk in my trunk, so I am cool.
Now, the chair that I use does not have a mesh bottom and I miss the mesh instead of this hard thing since the foam has given way. I have a $20 off $99 purchase so I am considering using it and buying another.

I grabbed a random chair from the office during the pandemic and loved how comfortable it was. After 4 years of daily use and never knowing the brand I got the itch for a new chair and wanted to see if this same mfg had something nicer - turns out they do. I ended up grabbing the Novo with the high back today.
Compared to the extreme prices of the steel case and hm chairs, this one had everything I wanted and I know the company makes solid chairs.
