All three of my gaming systems with a 6800, 6900xt, and 7900xtx run perfectly fine. I Also owned many nvidia gpus before and currently have a RTX 3060 in my HTPC. Honestly, AMD 's Adrenaline software is so modern looking and has a lot more system info. Nvidia's software still looks like something from Windows XP.

If you have the PSU juice for it this is a great card. You can go $200-$250 more for the XTX version, but that only has about 15-20% more performance. If you want to push 4K much then XTX is probably for you, but for most people the XT would be a solid choice, especially considering that upscaling like FSR is pretty great now.

It's usually first 6 months drivers are iffy, this cards been out 1+ year and has no driver problems

There aren't alot of choices and everyone's experiences are going to be different. I've had good experiences with both my 970 and 1080, I swapped over to AMD and i have had a good experience with the 7900 XT that i have. I have the model of this deal and it works great coupled with a heavy duty cpu. Im running this gpu and a 7800x3d and Im getting 4k + Highest settings + 60+ fps. So far so good. Also AMD is killing it with the 7000 series compared to Nvidias 4000 series. The 4090 being priced at almost double the XTX(last i knew the 4090 was $1600 and the 7900 XTX was $900/1000). Point is, get whatever fits your budget. Always going to be someone who has a problem.

I have this card and it is EXCELLENT. Most games run on ultra high settings 200+fps no problem.
