But my cases max is 13" and this puppy is 13.5 These cards are so long.
Newegg has a Sapphire Pulse on daily special for $785. OK price for that card (it has good thermals), but not the cheapest.

idk, personally if they go down to 700 i won't feel annoyed anymore, just frustrating when you grow up seeing when amd/ati punched down nvidia for a bit when they were able to because more efficient packaging smaller dies etc... so allowed them to sell for less and still make a profit
the idea that their pricing strategy is just to follow nvidia... kinda rubs me very wrong
