Just got a price match for mine that was just delivered. Woot.

Yes great for productivity. I'm on a 3060ti and haven't gamed yet but I expect the experience will be poor with that card but works fine for 8k via DP.

Also, the 240hz mode only works with a few AMD cards. None of the nVidia cards do that as they don't support the needed DP or HDMI versions.

How much do we think we could offload the G3 for? $200?
I was thinking more, but i looked it up and amazon has the 27" for $140 (currently on sale). So maybe $100... Bummer, i was thinking the same thing.

Do you mind linking the enclosure? I am on the fence with this monitor. I need to wait for the next gen gpus because I am still on 1080ti, but payme I can opt for current Gen gpu if there is a way to make it work at rated spec.

If I use 2 I puts it's 2 27in 4k screens horizontal. Not sure what you mean by it not being 2 4k screens.
Apologies - I misread what they wrote. I thought they meant that this is an 8K Monitor. It isn't hence my reply.

You probably need 6090 to run this monitor full potentially. But it is very good price.

How does this enable you to run 240hz at native resolution? I was imagining some way it provided DP2.1 output but don't see it.

The 57 Neo G9 with its virtual dual 4K monitors, PIP mode, and KVM switch, is unbeatable as a combination productivity/gaming monitor. I got one and I am pretty much dependent on it now.

2x 4K Monitors side by side is not the same as 8K which would be 2x 4K vertically by 2x 4K Horizontally.

I am running 240hz on a 3090 right now using an eGPU Enclosure.
Are you using dual input to get the full refresh rate? I'm considering pairing this with my 3090, but only if I can take full advantage of the monitor. I'm not interested in replacing my GPU too. It seems like it should be possible to get full resolution/color/refresh rate going dual display port. And I understand the monitor that the makes it so that it appears as a single display despite the dual connection to Windows as well as games.

I got this the last time it was on sale and off loaded the G3 for 100 bucks. Monitor is awesome my only annoyance is when the monitor sleeps windows does this disconnect sound that something was unplugged. Other than at its been awesome. Running it on a 3090TI @ 120hz.

Good for productivity too or not so much?
It's been my daily driver for work since it came out. The only complaint I have is that you need a dedicated video card to drive it from a laptop in most cases (though the screen splits into two "monitors" and works with most laptops that way as 2x 4K screens) and if you share video in Zoom or Teams, the resolution is so high you really need to have another monitor just for that. With the split/dual monitor mode you can share your screen but need to drop the resolution down.
None of those were dealbreakers for me. The screen is the best screen I've ever had. I'd have a hard time going back to anything less.

Is Macbook Pro 15" M1 able to drive this monster?

For production and not for gaming.

How is the color accuracy compare to Mac?
