This is close to the price of a decent quality entry level dutch oven but also has precise temperature control. You can remove the dutch oven from the heating element and use it on the stove like a normal one, too.

Ours had a cancel button that didn't work out of the box. You would have to unplug it for several minutes in order to change settings. Contacted the manufacturer, sent them a video of the button not working and they sent a whole new unit several days later. So now we have two units/ovens. Just the one has to be fussed with if you choose the wrong setting.

This doesn't have the pressure cooker part.
Look at the pictures. Look at the lid. It just sits on top. There is no locking mechanism for the lid to create the pressure that pressure cooking would require.
This is a slow cooker. Not a pressure cooker.

I have been eyeing this for some time. Decided to get one as a Christmas gift to ourselves. Looking forward to making Hungarian Goulash in it. And chilli.

So is this a Pressure Cooker and a Dutch Oven and a Slow Cooker? Basically, is it an Instant Pot Duo plus the (cast iron) Dutch Oven?

No, I this doesn't have a pressure cooker function. The description doesn't mention one, and there doesn't appear to be any seals or pressure valves on the lid.

Ok, I realize this is a stupid question, and Google tells me it can be used for it, but does anyone who's used one of these have experience using it to make rice frequently? Does it make adequate rice? Is it easier than the stove?
I feel like I'm struggling to understand these kinds of countertop cookers when I can just use a stove, but I could use the extra appliance if I can make a side dish or some rice in it every night or something like that.

I have one of these - worked well for about a year, then died suddenly. Threw away the base and it's still a worthy enameled cast iron dutch oven.

I bought it at this price from Costco a couple years ago. It's a good unit, one big benefit (especially if you have an electric stove) is that it holds a temperature a lot better than a stovetop. For example, if I need to sear off a bunch of meat before braising or something similar, it holds a solid sear temp the entire time, multiple pounds, multiple batches of browning (I would normally sear a little hotter on the stovetop than this unit gets for searing, but it does a great job and still gives a great maillard reaction). If I put a dutch oven on my electric stovetop, I have to constantly change the temperature to keep things from burning, especially if I'm searing multiple batches of meat. So it just depends on what you're using it for, but I cook daily and take it out of the cabinet about once a month. I have used the dutch oven on it's own and find the enamel to be better than what came on my Lodge dutch oven and I prefer this unit for braising over leaving it on a stovetop. Overall very happy with the unit for $50 since that's about the price a dutch oven of this size would go for (without the heating element).

bought one and returned it. basically trash. you will most likely burn. just buy if your sole purpose is to seamer.
what are you talking about? it has all the control to do anything you want.

It's trash because you burned your food? Sounds more like a skill issue than a slow-cooker problem.
Also, what is seamer?

You might be confusing this appliance with the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker, this is not that. This is basically a Crock Pot (aka slow cooker) with extra features. I don't think cooking rice in this would work the way you're thinking.
That being said, I use my IP pressure cooker all the time for cooking rice and it works great.

Great price. I have one and it works great. I like being able to sear meat in the same pot before braising or slow cooking.

I would say this is more due to user error rather than an error caused by the machine itself.
