Honestly, while a VPN can add a layer of privacy, it's not the most secure option if you're extremely serious about online anonymity. Mullvad isn't really "underground." I see their ads on the subway and bus here in NYC. Good service though, and have no problems with their VPN.

I started using this VPN a few months ago since a certain cashback site was offering 100% cashback. Having come from SurfShark, it is literally night and day. Speeds are so much faster on Nord and I don't have the issue of getting blocked from certain sites or having to solve captchas when using google.

I've been having trouble with Nord and torrents. Their socks proxy does not work properly, requiring use of the OS client. With that setup properly with split tunneling, my ip has been leaked more than a few times. To the point where I no longer trust the connection and will move to a different provider.

I clicked thinking you were nuts, but it is a strange ad. The app and everything else are SO clean, not nearly as bloated as Nord. You can get it for $5 a month to test it, really good stuff!!! I suggest testing it.
