Quick googling seems to say 12-18 month shelf life before they start to break down? For liquids and pods anyway. Powder is more stable?

I absolutely agree. We are a household of 3 with a 2-year-old - this stuff is subpar compared to the normal Tide Free/Sensitive.

As someone else posted on all of these other Tide Simply posts - these ones lack certain enzymes used to breakdown tougher stains etc.

We useually get the pods. The do have experations. I noticed that a while back. You would think sealed pods would be plenty stable. It might be back to poweder for me.

This keeps clothes smelling bad. We tried it with varying load sizes thinking we were washing too much, but it just doesn't do it's job. Went back to regular blue tide, problem solved.
