Is porting from a visible number still working? I've done several ports from visible in the past and when the order does not go through I would usually had to wait a few hours to try the same number again. Now it's been more than 24 hours and it still says the visible number can't be transferred.

You need to turn on the phone to complete phone activation. Email activation message is for account.

Here is unlock policy. It is device, not account.
Three hundred sixty-five (365) days must have passed since the device's activation date.

So the activation was for the line, after the port in. But I guess from what I have read so far, I have to turn the phone on... Anyone has any experience otherwise?

I placed my order today and so far no error messages about my visible port from Metro or visible. Activated visible by porting a number from US Mobile on October 23rd if that helps or makes a difference. Got the email from visible about a port request a minute before getting my Metro order confirmation this morning.

Ohhhhh okay yeah I understand now thank you! Basically don't have autopay on and your good after you pay the first month (due to the balance being set already) also I got the iPhone 13 and wanted to get the 12 as well since it's free at the moment besides the one month, what's the cheapest service that you would recommend to get a number ported I did visible already for $5 for a month

Any phone that is FREE, you only pay for the $35 (discounted service). The iphone 12 will only cost you $35 but you have to port in a phone number.

You are referring to Visible right? When you sign up they will give you some number prefixes to choose from, and once you do they will show you the number. Regarding your second question, that is a good question. I do know that they do not send a OTP to get the port out info, however I am not sure what happens if you don't install the eSIM. I can give it a try for my next line.

I was checking out and think I screwed up the security questions. How can I fix this?
This happened to me one time, though my case wasn't related to the security questions. It didn't go away after more than 48hrs. Then I found out how easy it was to request a new number from Visible so I did, and I was able to order another phone using the new number.
