My neighbor just bought this phone for $100 at Walmart for Straight Talk. The phone says it's a Tracfone though it has some straight talk app on it. Could you use this particular phone for straight talk; maybe after it's unlocked 60 days later?

You don't move Sim card it's linked to phone IMEI. You have to activate the new phone keeping number of the old phone.

Better if it had more than 4GB of RAM. Crippled by today's standards.

Not a lot of respect for the SD minions willing to sell their souls for a $20 discount. I like a good deal, too. But, follow the rules or you're just thieves.

Your remaining minutes/text will become unlimited, your left over data will be added to the 24GB. Your end date will be in January 26. Actually I used ADB to remove the bloatware and especially after removing Samsung Knox. Once that is gone, the A15 goes into Lamborghini superfast mode. Not kidding.

No eSIM support... bummer because I want to use it as wifi hotspot when using travel data esim oversea

My low effort hack was simply to never sign into a Samsung account with the phone and uninstall or disable as much Samsung bloatware as I could.

Is ADB a command line only tool? Is there one with a GUI that is not super complicated?

Google returns many results on this topic. Sadly some are trying to sell me things which I suspect are open source tools which are already free to begin with. So here I am asking. And many thanks in advance!

Thanks, but were you previously on an Ultd plan already? I am on a 24GB unltd plan and therefore don't have minutes and text that would "become unlimited" because it already is unlimited.

Am I missing something? I cant find any place for a 2GB per month unlimited talk/text for anything less than 10 dollars - just the plan. And this one is selling for $100 minus $30 = $70 + Tax which makes it $5.85 per month + tax? Combine with CB, CC cashbacks - you are looking for much less than that (at least to cover tax) + free Samsung A15 5G. What am I missing?
