Man, I was really hoping one of the tools would have been a regular drill.

I'd be very wary of purchasing DeWalt batteries from eBay, unless from a DeWalt authorized seller. There's a lot of fake DeWalt batteries being sold on eBay, unfortunately.

Where do you sell the batteries to get the best price? I like the idea of worried about the time factor and hassle.
I sell on Facebook. It's sometimes a hassle. Trying to sell my oscillating tool kit. I got it and a 4 AH for $100, so trying to get $100 for the kit alone, which is fairly cheap. I dealt with some Hispanic guy that's either not technically inclined or a scammer. I gave him my address, a map screenshot and picture of the building and he wanted me to click on his link sharing his location but said it didn't go through, so I'm giving up on him. Half the time I'm selling them to Hispanic people, that's just the worst time I've had.

Looks like the heat gun is the only thing I really want. Brushless router is the most expensive item, but probably used less. Might be harder to resell.

It's possible, however the seller is out of California with OEM packaging. I'm willing to believe more it's part of a snack N grab than it being a very good fake.

Pulled the trigger on this deal with the palm router, which I've had on my wishlist for a while. I started with a combo kit so I've got a handful of small batteries, this supplementation will actually be pretty nice. I'm glad they had the pictures detailing that these new simpler looking batteries are actually equivalent to the older XR batteries. I do wonder why they simplified the styling so much, because these new plain ones honestly look like what I expect a knockoff battery to look like. Knockoffs will be even easier to make now. 😬

I concur that Facebook Marketplace is difficult sometimes. I don't know what kind of scam they're running, but there seems to be a lot of fishing for your address. I try to meet up somewhere safe and local, but sometimes you schedule a meet up place and the buyer never shows up, which is really annoying. It really can be more of a hassle than it's worth.

I wish I didn't already own the jigsaw....this deal would be pretty incredible. Best battery operated jigsaw I've used for anyone considering it.

There's also the renewal option. Buy it and sell yours. I gave the option to buy my used impact or the new one. Sold the new one, but I've had mine over 5 years no problems. Built a shed with a deck and some other stuff. Between that and my brushless 12V, I'm happy!

Don't need the tools so can anyone help on hack to buy but return the tool and what the battery cost would then be? Or what tool best to get and resell for max savings.
