Yep. Took the AA this summer on the old 777-200 to HND. It was awful, plane was dated, seat was tight, barely any service and the food sucked. Not sure the new 787 any better. Definitely take ANA or JAL if you can.

Definitely sweet. Kinda like kettle corn, you get a tiny bit of salty too.

Flight is operated by AA or JAL?
JAL has better service and more roomy and comfortable seat than AA.

Not sure about the all the dates but similar deals to HND non-stop from JFK. But just on AA. FYI: From what I can see AA is 31 inches in ECON and JAL is 33 inches in ECON. Setting aside service levels of course.

Nagoya is one of the least interesting city in Japan, lol, but if you use Japan Rail pass, who cares.

This is a great deal but I found Nagoya a bit underwhelming in terms of tourism. I recently returned from a month-long vacation in Japan and don't think I would revisit Nagoya. I suggest hopping on a Shinkansen and exploring the Kanto region to the north or the Kansai/Kinki region to the south.

^^EDIT: Apparently the person above me came here to say the same thing while I was typing this

I just checked one round trip. It actually operated by Japan Airlines with 351-Airbus A350-1000. (HND-JFK leg)
That is their latest fleet launched this year.

FYI, the same deal is also good JFK-CTS (Sapporo - Chitose Airport).
Sapporo is SUPER AWSOME.

United can really beat that, flew it a few times EWR-HND the past year, plane wasn't too old but a couple FA were so rude, especially an old guy we saw a few times who would literally tell u to get ur own soda in the back of the plane, the food was horrible, frozen sandwiches (all iced up ham) is normal, me and my 4 yo (we love McD and really not picky eaters) threw up coz the food was so bad and we would skip meals every time on United. By all means, choose Japan or Asia airlines over the US ones any day
